There was an amusing post this week at TheWrap.com discussing how the various Hollywood movie studios are confused about the basics of social media and Twitter. You may remember (or, maybe not), back in 2003, when Hollywood suddenly started blaming text messaging for certain movies failing, because some kids would go to a movie, realize it sucks, and quickly warn their friends to stay away. Of course, Hollywood blamed text messaging, instead of the fact that they made a crappy movie, and couldn... (More)

Today’s release on manufacturing activity by the Richmond Fed is pretty ghastly, as you would expect given that the effects of fiscal stimulus are now wearing off at accelerating pace – before the happy handover to the private sector is safely consummated – and given that the structural East-West imbalances that lay behind the global crisis are getting worse again.

July 28 (Bloomberg) — Greek island homes, long coveted by millionaires and Hollywood stars such as Tom Hanks, are being marked down by as much as 45 percent as the country’s debt crisis destroys demand for holiday getaways.

I have reduced the budget on this – as it looks like I can do this for less.

Probably 100% of the money raised will go to my editor. Waiting to hear back on that.

Both Steve Keen and Peter Schiff are available for this. Peter is in the last two weeks of this senatorial campaign so we have to wait until after that.

Look strong. The PMF Fund has not yet upgraded this project. We are waiting for a higher percentage of share reservations.

Perhaps the owners can do some more marketing of their project.
