The main character in Proper man ‘Roger Leconte’represents the future of humanity, but he is struggling and vunerable and comes under the influence of Guru Dosh who essentially represents corrupt capatalism, a man driven to take over the world and control everyone and everything.Genji appears to Roger when he has fits/seizures, so the audience is unsure wether it is real and Genji is communicating to Roger in the spiritual plain or wether its all in Rogers head. Genji’s role is to guide humanity through Roger to enlightenment and true freedom, but he can’t tell him what to do, he must guide and enlighten through their chats and meetings in Paris, Roger must get there through his own free will to reach true freedom. The character of Genji in the course of the Proper Man story is fighting for the soul of Roger/humanity against Guru Dosh who is a corrupt , psychotic, control freak capatalist. Guru wants to take over the planet by using Roger, whom he tries to control for his own duplicitus reasons as part of his expanding global Financial, spiritual , media empire. This should leave Max space to be totally ridiculous , talk about life, the universe, aliens he has helped in the past, alien technologys, evoloution and have some fun. At the same time Genji will be a very mysterious and cool charcter who gets in some cutting satire about the current financial and world situation.
