Synopsis: Money makes the world go round. It is the oil in the economic engine that makes our life possible and when that engine seizes up, people die. What we are experiencing now is called deflation. Deflation (the shrinking of the money supply) feeds on itself making things worse as time goes by. The more people that lose their jobs, the less money is spent back into the economy making the problem worse. We have reached a point in our history where both the government and the people owe more that they can afford to pay back. The world has run into a debt-saturation wall that was caused by the exponential expansion of leverage, debt, specualtion and the money supply. We can suffer needlessly or we can fix the problem.
